Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning requires following IT professionals:

  • Project Manager / Technical Manager/-HOD: The candidate should be Masters in Computer Science / Engineer with 7-8 years experience in heading a team of Software Developers / PROGRAMMERS, independently managing a large Project, designing online distributed system, user requirement gathering, business analysis and SDLC. CAndidates should have experience of working on large projects espacially online, distibuted system with several concurrent users, banking or e-business domains. Should have experience developeing project plans, business proposals & client interaction. Should have managed a team of at least 8-10 persons. Should be well versed with wide range of technology such as Java / ASP / SQL / Oracle / PHP / MySQL / Dot Net. Also have experience on architecture design
  • Database Programmer / Administrator: Candidate should preferably have Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with min 5+ years experience in handling large database multi tiered online systems. Database creation and Database up gradation from SQL server / Oracle, designing database policies, plannaing and implementation of Backup and restoration. Good acquaintance with Security management (OS and DAtabase levels). Verifying disaster recovery related scripts & backup. Will also be responsible for managing Hard disk space Utilization, Monitoring Memory & CPU Utilization, experience in management & monitoring replication server.
  • PHP Programmer: Candidate should preferably have Master's degree in Computer Science / MCA / B.E. / B.Tech with min 5+ years experience in handling large database / data centers / multitiered on line systems. Candidates should have the knowlwedge & experience of various open sources, CMS/LCMS and other softwares like Moodle, Joomla. identification and customization of the Intranet in accordance with user's requirement, working knowlwdge of JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, Scriptaculous and Prototype, familiarity with providing technology solutions, creating solutions architectures , database modelling and other design requirements for a Project
  • SQL Programmer:Candidate should preferably have Master's degree in Computer Science / MCA / B.E. / B.Tech with min 5+ years experience in medium to large-scale software product development. Candidates should have experience in Database upgradation from SQL Server / Oracle, good understanding of SDLC, should have worked with estimation and work beak down structure, experience in C# .Net Framework, DB, OOPS Concepts, VB
  • Sr. Java Programmer: Candidate should preferably have Master's degree in Computer Science / MCA / B.E. / B.Tech with min 3-4 years experience in medium to large scale Software Product Development. He should have independently managed a large Project, designed online distributed System, user requirement gathering , business analysis and SDLC
    Hands on programming in Java , Swing, JSP, EJB, XML, Struts, ADO, HTML, Java Script, Oracle 9i/10g, Shell Scripts and UML. Sound knowledge and working exp. in Object Oriented design and development methodology, J2EE technology and architecture is required
